That is the whole mission, and it is not a slogan, it is a spec. Somewhere along the way computers stopped saving us time: the inbox refills itself, every app wants a decision, and the sum of "two-minute tasks" is your evening. The machine idles while you do the machine's work.

IKARUS is built on the opposite bet: software should work while you don't. Not by chatting about your to-do list, but by quietly handling the observable, repeatable, delegable busywork of a normal life, and by keeping a full, readable account of everything it does, because trust is the product. If it can't show its work, it doesn't ship.

About the name: the myth says don't fly too close to the sun. The instrument disagrees. It says know exactly how close you are, at all times, and fly anyway. That is why the whole thing looks the way it does: engraved numerals, a ledger, one calm accent, and a wing made of parts you can inspect.
