Before you download

The first Mac release is being prepared for Apple silicon. Final supported macOS versions will be confirmed with the public release. Intel and Windows downloads are not available.

Check the download page for the current release and its architecture. Public downloads appear there after release checks are complete.

Choose how you use AI

Free: use the manual features straight away. Add your own provider API key for basic AI chat. API usage is billed by that provider.

Local: install Ollama separately and download a compatible model, or connect your own API key. RAM, disk space and performance depend on the model you choose. Advanced tools need a model that supports them. Ollama can use saved notes and conversation context, but it cannot automatically find related notes by meaning.

Pro or Max: sign in and choose a plan in Settings, then Subscription, to use included hosted AI. An internet connection is required. You can also use your own key or Ollama.

Keep your work

Your workspace is stored on your Mac. Keep a current backup before moving to another Mac or reinstalling. Replacing the app for an update should preserve your workspace; do not delete its application data as part of an update.

Subscriptions can be managed from the app's Subscription settings. Canceling a plan does not delete your local work.
