Two audits in one week

IKARUS claims to be honest by construction, so this week the claim itself got tested, twice.

The first audit walked the whole codebase and checked every claim the interface makes against what the code actually does. It found real gaps: one class of file-analysis commands reached the filesystem without passing the permission gate, three creation dialogs opened off-screen, and two status indicators reported a connection more confidently than the facts supported. All fixed, and each fix now has a regression test.

The second audit enumerated every place the code can talk to the network. The result is a short, reviewable list: the AI providers you configure, the email account you connect, and the web tools you invoke. Nothing else. A test now fails the whole suite if any module quietly gains network access in the future.

Finding problems in your own product is uncomfortable to publish. It is also the entire point of building trust software in public: the audit trail exists so that "local-first" and "governed" stay measured properties, not slogans.
