How it works
Free provides everyday tools without AI. Local, Pro and Max support local models or your own API key; Pro and Max also include hosted AI credit. Using your own key or a local model does not consume your IKARUS AI credit. Choosing local AI does not silently fall back to a cloud model.
Hosted AI pauses when its available credit runs out. You can wait for renewal, add prepaid credit or switch to your own key or an eligible local model. There is no automatic recharge. Local AI can use saved context but cannot automatically find related notes by meaning, and tool support depends on the model.
For your own API key, weekly and monthly budget limits can pause requests based on estimated spending through IKARUS. Your provider bills that usage separately. These limits cover requests made here; check your provider account for its full usage and charges.
The public Mac release is being prepared. Free includes three Nexus workspaces, tasks, goals, habits and notes, with no AI. AI chat, advanced planning, browser assistance and automations need a paid plan and a compatible model. Compare plans or join the waitlist.
